How can Europe equip its workforce with the skills needed for the green and digital transitions?
The European Digital Sustainability Skills Conference will bring together policymakers, industry representatives, education and training providers, researchers and skills experts to discuss how Europe can anticipate and respond to rapidly evolving skills needs.
The programme will explore digital and green skills, workforce transformation, upskilling and reskilling, skills intelligence, micro-credentials and professional certification, and innovative approaches to education and training. Discussions will also examine how successful skills initiatives can move beyond individual projects and be recognised, adopted and scaled across Europe.
The conference will showcase practical solutions developed through Digital4Sustainability, an Erasmus+-funded European partnership under the Pact for Skills, including approaches to identifying emerging skills needs and developing relevant education and training programmes.
The event is also part of the European Skills & VET Week 2026, an initiative of the European Commission organised by Cedefop.
Participants joining in person will have dedicated opportunities to network with representatives from European institutions, industry, education and research, exchange experiences and explore potential collaboration, including during the networking lunch.
Participation is free of charge.
